As a response to the first stage of water limitation in part of Taiwan Water Resources Agency proposed MND an application for operation of “cloud seeding”. MND swiftly dispatched two C-130H aircrafts carrying 8 tons of water to the aerial space above Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli.

Air Force HQ indicated that cloud seeding operation requires the meteorological accuracy to illustrate the movement of cloud. The operating personnel has to work under unstable weather and anaerobic condition. The safety relies on strict training for all personnel involved in. Air Force is going to keep itself up-to-date to weather condition and make good use of applicable days to carry out cloud seeding for much more rainfall.
